The Goddard School® of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dependable Infant/Toddler Floater Teacher to join our team of passionate educators.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Lead Teacher in implementing engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities.
  • Help maintain a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment.
  • Supervise and interact with children to encourage their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators.
  • Ensure all activities and practices align with Goddard School standards and New York State licensing regulations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting preferred.
  • High School Diploma/GED, CDA or degree (or working toward a degree) in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, ability to multi-task and organizational skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
