Job Description
The June Program is a 3-week summer program that serves students in grades K-6 at the Campus School of Smith College. The program runs from June 1 – 18, Monday – Friday, from 8:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. This fun and exciting experience offers students the opportunity to participate in various activities on the Smith College Campus. Students in grades K-2 will utilize the Campus School facilities for activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games, kung-fu, water games, drama, sports, story-telling and more! Students in grades 3-6 will use Smith College athletic facilities and other buildings to participate in activities including: art, sports & games (basketball, badminton, dodgeball, pickleball, soccer), cooking, theater, science, nature exploration and more! Start Date: May 31 (training) End Date: June 20

Assistant Group Leaders Assist the group leader with the management and supervision of students in grades K-6. Monitor and supervise students during transitions, assist with implementing plans and activities, help manage equipment, supplies and program spaces, assist with student support and arrival and dismissal. Uphold and support program protocol, policies and procedures. Report to the program coordinator. Prior experience working with children in active environments including camps or schools preferred.
