Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist you deliver evidence-based speech and language services to students K-12 with language disorders, articulation delays, fluency concerns, voice disorders, and complex communication needs. You collaborate with special education teams, general educators, parents, and related services providers to create inclusive, data-driven intervention plans.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized and dynamic assessment tools to determine eligibility for services under IDEA, Section 504, and state standards
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs and 504 plans with measurable, functional, and academically relevant goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services across language, articulation, fluency, voice, and social communication domains
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress, treatment effectiveness, and session data
  • Collaborate with special education, general education, and administrative staff to embed language-learning strategies across the school day
  • Participate actively in IEP and ARD meetings and contribute clinical expertise to placement, progress monitoring, and eligibility decisions
  • Maintain ASHA-compliant caseloads and ensure adherence to state and federal special education regulations

Required Qualifications 1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from a CAPCSD-accredited program CCC-SLP from ASHA 2. Valid, unrestricted Florida SLP license or ability to obtain within 30 days

Clear background check and proof of immunization status per district
