Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, caring, and flexible Part-Time Float Teacher to support our classrooms and staff throughout the day. This position plays an important role in maintaining a smooth, safe, and engaging environment for children by assisting in multiple classrooms as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
  • Step into classrooms as needed to maintain appropriate teacher-to-child ratios
  • Assist lead teachers with daily routines, including meals, diapering/toileting, and transitions
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support learning and development
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families
  • Follow all licensing regulations and center policies

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Previous childcare experience preferred (but not required)
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to different classrooms and routines
