Job description

Office Administrator – Cranbrook Day Camp

Cranbrook campers enjoy a rotating schedule of activities throughout the week including arts & crafts, science, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, swimming in Williams Natatorium, and various other indoor and outdoor activities. This camp offers an opportunity for boys to act and learn to react in different social settings and situations. Duties

Interact with families and campers (boys, grades 2-9) in a positive, nurturing and enriching manner. Respond to or distribute incoming phone calls and emails to appropriate camp staff. Monitor and communicate via radio to main office and other camps. Utilize the camp database and create reports. Create, process, and send camp announcements, newsletters, follow-up communications, and incident, injury, and behavioral reports. Provide prompt responses to program inquiries and establish efficient working relationships with camp and CEC personnel and program participants.

Qualifications

High school diploma; advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and modern databases; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to relate with campers, staff, and parents.

Preferred

Camp employment experience.

Timeframe

Orientation begins the week of June 9. Camp runs Monday-Friday, June 15-August 7, with pack-away on August 8.

Wage

$16.50 per hour.
