- We are hiring in Bronx, NY!
- Join us at Easterseals Story Ave for an exciting career as a Physical Therapist! (10 month position) What You'll Do As a Physical Therapist you will work as a member of the team of teachers, occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists and counselors to provide physical therapy services to young children in a school environment.
- Your Responsibilities Will Include: Develop IEPs with other team members and families.
- Maintain professional standards, and current skills in therapy techniques.
- Provide physical therapy services for children.
- Write session notes, progress notes and reports addressing the child's strengths, needs and progress.
- Aid in maintaining equipment and workspace.
- Attend staff meetings, case conferences, and other meetings as assigned.
- Assist in staff development and training.
- Assist in program planning and development.
- You're a great fit for this role if you have: Doctorate from a physical therapy school approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or associate’s degree as a physical therapy assistant.
- Current license in the State of New York.
- Three years' experience working with young children as a physical therapist preferred.
Compensation: $65,000- 90,000 (depending on credentials and experience)
