Help people find meaningful work—and build inclusive communities. REACH, Inc. is hiring an Employment Specialist / Job Developer to support individuals with disabilities in achieving their employment goals through job development, coaching strategies, and community partnerships.
This role blends human services, career coaching, and employer engagement to create successful, person-centered employment outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and support individualized employment plans based on goals, strengths, and interests
- Build relationships with local employers and identify job opportunities
- Conduct job discovery, assessments, and career exploration
- Match individuals to jobs that align with their skills and employer needs
- Collaborate with Job Coaches and support teams to ensure quality services
- Support pre-vocational skill development and workplace readiness
- Assist individuals interested in self-employment options
- Monitor progress and adjust employment goals to promote independence and success
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and service tracking
- Promote positive relationships with individuals, families, employers, and community partners

Pay & Benefits

Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required (experience may be considered)
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic to moderate computer skills (documentation, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of disability services, employment supports, or human services systems preferred
Driving Requirement
- Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience
- Current DMV report
- Proof of personal auto insurance
