About Us Celebree School of Northbrook is a warm, welcoming early childhood education center serving children 6 weeks through 5 years old. We focus on creating a nurturing, engaging environment where children thrive and teachers feel supported, valued, and part of a strong team.

We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant / Teacher’s Aide who is caring, dependable, and passionate about working with young children.

  • Preschool (ages 3–5)
  • What You’ll Do
  • Support lead teachers in daily classroom activities
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
  • Assist with meals, diapering, bathroom breaks, and nap time
  • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play
  • Encourage positive behavior and social-emotional development
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and leadership
  • Follow all Illinois DCFS licensing and health & safety guidelines

  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Strong communication skills
  • Childcare or classroom experience preferred, but not required
  • Must meet Illinois DCFS requirements (background checks, medical clearance, etc.)
