Job description

Youth Program Coordinator - BPHC

Burlington Partnership for a Healthy Community is seeking a team player to coordinate activities that inspire and empower middle and high school-aged youth to make healthy choices and be changemakers for reducing substance misuse and improving health and wellness in their community. There is an opportunity for some remote work although the ideal candidate will work mainly from our office in Burlington and within the Burlington schools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead middle and high school programming during and after school that empowers youth to be leaders for positive change within the community
  • Collaborate with school staff to support substance related education and activities for youth
  • Increase youth prevention opportunities in the Burlington community

Requirements

  • Experience working with youth/adolescent populations
  • Experience and/or education within substance misuse or public health fields preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Pay/Benefits
  • Part-time, 28 hours per week
