We are currently seeking a Lead Teacher for our 1- and 2-year-old classroom.

This is a fast-paced environment that requires a strong leader who can provide structure, organization, and consistency while creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), CDA Credential, or equivalent qualification required
  • Must have a GA PDS account
  • Previous childcare or classroom management experience preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities

Responsibilities

  • Maintain classroom structure and organization throughout the day
  • Provide consistency in routines, expectations, and classroom management
  • Effectively manage the classroom while maintaining state ratios
  • Engage and interact with children in a positive and developmentally appropriate manner
  • Follow and implement a timely daily schedule
  • Communicate professionally with parents and team members
  • Work independently while also being a supportive team player

Hours for this position are Monday through Friday 7

30 AM – 5:30 PM. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

All newly hired Lead Teachers will be evaluated during their first three weeks of employment. This evaluation period is designed to assess the ability to meet the expectations and responsibilities of the position. Candidates are expected to demonstrate professionalism, consistency, classroom management, organization, and the ability to maintain daily operations effectively.

If, after the evaluation period, the required expectations are not met, continued employment may be reconsidered, and termination may occur.
