This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about mentoring youth and supporting children with mental and behavioral health needs. What We’re Looking For Reliable, patient, and emotionally resilient individuals Team-oriented professionals committed to youth development Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations Commitment to agency policies, procedures, and child safety standards Key Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and behavior management for children Ensure a safe, structured, and nurturing residential environment Implement crisis intervention and approved physical restraint techniques when necessary Plan and lead group discussions and recreational activities Transport children to school, medical appointments, and other approved activities Purchase groceries, plan menus, and prepare meals Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties Instruct and oversee personal hygiene and physical health Monitor and document medication administration and availability Maintain accurate documentation and daily records Attend required staff meetings and treatment team meetings Complete all onboarding and annual required trainings Participate in intakes, referral interviews, and fundraising activities as needed Report facility or safety concerns promptly Perform other duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Two (2) years of experience working with youth with mental/behavioral health needs (preferably in a residential setting) OR a Bachelor’s degree in a related mental health field Valid Driver’s License Background history free of offenses listed on the Affidavit of Good Moral Character Ability to serve as a positive role model and mentor Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to provide consistent structure and appropriate discipline Ability to create and maintain a safe, supportive, and home-like environment Why Join Us Meaningful, mission-driven work Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of youth Apply today if you’re ready to make a difference—one weekend at a time.
