- Overview The Occupational Therapist works under the Early Intervention Program Director as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services to children from birth to three years of age in a family-centered program.
- The Occupational Therapist works directly with children and their families in the children’s natural environments, including, but not limited to, the children’s homes and/or daycare settings.
- They coordinate with families, multidisciplinary team members, and outside providers, as appropriate, to maximize positive developmental and learning outcomes for children and families served.

Responsibilities
Completing assessments and writing objectives Design and implement functional activities that address students’ occupational therapy needs. Provide consultation and training to classroom staff, ensuring effective strategies are used daily. Consulting with classroom staff regarding students' OT needs Offer direct therapy services when needed, applying evidence-based techniques Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to IEP evaluations and ongoing student support. What You Bring Education: Graduate of an approved program in occupational therapy Licensure: Valid and current license as an OT in Massachusetts Skills: Demonstrated commitment to student progress, ability to multitask and take initiative in multitasking Qualities: Finds enjoyment working with a multi-disciplinary team Why Join Us?
