We are currently hiring for: Full-Time Mixed Community + Clinic based OT in Anderson, SC (office, homes, preschools, early intervention)

Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities

Evaluate assessment and test results and medical background information to diagnose and create individualized treatment plans for fine motor, sensory regulation, visual motor/perceptual, feeding, daily living skills, and other related disorders. Identify patients who could benefit from adaptive equipment or sensory regulation equipment and support family to obtain medically necessary equipment Accept a variety of patients to treat various diagnoses, including more specific treatment/strategy techniques (deficits/delays related to sensory regulation, sensory-based feeding, executive functioning, emotional regulation, infants, etc..) and can treat with minimal oversight from leadership Record therapy notes (SOAP), patient observations, evaluation reports, care plans (POCs), and discharge of clients Instruct clients in techniques for more effective carryover of strategies and techniques. Develop individualized occupational therapy exercise programs and home programs for families to implement, to maximize functional outcomes Ensure regular communication with parents or caregivers and educate/instruct patients and family members in strategies to facilitate progress.

Occupational Therapist Job Requirements

A current State of South Carolina professional license (SC LLR). Graduated from an accredited university with a bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy. Sensory & Feeding experience are a plus! Knowledge and understanding of children’s developmental stages from ages 0-18 to properly analyze the growth, movement (motor), cognitive, and maturation process/transition between skill levels. Previous pediatric experience is required through employment or clinical rotation.

Occupational Therapist Compensation & Pay Structure

Base Salary for full time OT/R includes therapy sessions and administrative time (documentation, caregiver communication, etc.) for full-time W2 positions. Bonus Commission for increased productivity Independent contractors and part-time employees are paid per visit
