The ACES Speech and Language Services department is hiring SLPAs to provide short-term or long-term school-based coverage in ACES member school districts. Services would be provided under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist. Join a dynamic team of educators working with ACES partnering districts. Successful candidates will possess a desire to work in a school setting, be adaptable to a variety of school settings, and be able to communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team, parents, and supervisors. Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply. Primary Performance Responsibilities Provide direct therapy services addressing speech and language treatment goals developed by the supervising SLP for the students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Assisting the SLP during students’ assessments and/or administering and scoring assessment tools, exclusive of clinical interpretation. Developing and implementing activities and materials for teaching and practice of skills to address goals of the student developed by the supervising SLP. Collect ongoing student performance data and report information to the supervising SLP. Provide treatment through a variety of service delivery models (i.e., individual, group, classroom-based) as directed by the supervising SLP.
