Key responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and interactive instruction to students.
  • Follow curriculum guidelines, and scope and sequence created, maintain a structured and supportive learning environment.
  • Conduct Pre and Post program assessments
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure instructional consistency and quality.
  • Attend a mandatory meeting in May (exact date TBD).

Education & qualifications

Required

  • A minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university OR A passing score of 460 on the ETS Parapro Assessment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), databases, and social media platforms
  • Will need to upload documents in teams

Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts in Education or related field
  • Valid Michigan teaching certificate and applicable endorsement(s) as required by the Michigan Department of Education
  • Meets Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
