Bonus based on performance Company parties Free food & snacks Swim&Gym Summer Camp is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Beginner Gymnastics Instructor to join our summer team! This is a fun, part-time opportunity to work with children ages 5–12 in a supportive, high-energy camp environment.
📍 Location: 821 S Midvale Blvd, Madison, WI 53711 (Leased space at Midvale Baptist Church)
📅 Schedule (June 10 – August 21)
Mondays & Wednesdays
- 9:30 AM – 11:30
- AM
- Tuesdays &
- Thursdays: 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM Times are approximate and may be adjusted slightly but will remain consistent throughout the summer. Optional additional hours may be available assisting with field trips (typically Fridays) What You’ll Do:
Lead engaging beginner-level gymnastics/tumbling instruction for campers ages 5–12 Plan and teach lessons for groups of approximately 25 children (split into smaller groups with staff support) Run 45-minute instructional sessions (5–6 groups total, with two lessons per group each week) Utilize available equipment such as mats, low balance beams, a kids’ kip bar, inflatable floor mat, and more Incorporate creative movement and general fitness using additional sports equipment Work alongside counselors and counselors-in-training to ensure a safe, fun, and inclusive environment What We’re Looking For:
Experience teaching or coaching beginner gymnastics, tumbling, or youth fitness Ability to manage groups of children and keep them engaged Positive, energetic, and patient personality Strong communication and organizational skills Willingness to collaborate and adapt lesson plans as needed Perks:
