Actual pay rate dependent upon experience. $22.75 - $34.75 Position Highlights This position is will primarily be located at the Sioux Falls Washington High School. A Brief Overview Provides conditioning programs to assist the athlete in developing the increasing athletic ability to safely perform the selected sport. Plans, organizes and implements educational programs for coaches, athletes and community members. Coordinates and implements outreach programs for athlete development and strengthening. Work with local Sports teams, coaches to develop athletes. Plan and implement summer athletic programs. What you will do Responsible for the development, administration, implementation, scheduling and supervision of the Avera Sports strength and conditioning programs. Develops, administers a program to direct the athlete toward increasing abilities and strength for the selected sport. Provides support, encouragement and inspiration to the athlete for continual performance enhancement to achieve/exceed goals. Maximizes and emphasis the proper and safe methods for the athlete to follow. Plans, organizes and implements educational programs for coaches, athletes and community members and seeks opportunities to expand educational opportunities. Works with coaches to develop strength programs for various sports. Carries out the program details as agreed upon with the educational entity coaching staff. Collaborates with various departments and/or individuals as needed to assure areas of importance are adequately addressed as a part of the program. Coordinates and implements outreach programs for athlete development and strengthening. Develops and maintains athletic summer programming/camps for region. Collaborates with others as to the status of the athlete(s) and program development. Initiates, encourages and supports interactive communication with all parties on the pertinent information, actions and/or future requirements. Work and collaborate with other members of the Avera Sports team to integrate post-surgical needs for Athletes. Essential Qualifications The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
