  • What you will be doing HSS Rehab and Performance is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated speech language pathologist to join our renowned Speech Therapy Team at HSS.
  • As an integral part of our Pediatric Rehabilitation Team, you will be responsible for performing pediatric outpatient evaluations and treatment, catering to young patients with diverse speech, language, and feeding conditions.
  • Collaborative work with our pediatric physical and occupational therapists is key.
  • This role will encompass direct patient care as well as education of patients/families in plan of care and cutting-edge rehabilitation techniques.
  • Additionally, you will also engage in bedside swallow assessments and inpatient treatment within the acute care unit for both the pediatric and adult populations.
  • The ideal candidate holds certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association, coupled with NYS Certification as Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD).
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience preferred, with emphasis on working with a variety of pediatric diagnoses and well as experience with adult patients with swallowing disorders.
  • New York State license SLP licensure required.
