Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure while dealing with a variety of emotions and frustrations. Valid Colorado Driver’s License (or ability to obtain within 30 days) with 5+ years of driving experience. Pass FBI, CBI, and TRAILS record checks; flexibility in scheduling.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure safety and supervision of residents at home and in the community, assisting with daily routines and programs. Perform case management, including crisis intervention, program development, and documentation. Communicate professionally with families, schools, therapists, and other stakeholders. Handle emergencies, administer medications, and maintain documentation (e.g., log notes, incident reports). Support and model trauma-informed care, fostering a safe and healthy environment. Participate in training, meetings, and quality improvement initiatives. Perform administrative tasks, basic cleaning, and other duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure while dealing with a variety of emotions and frustrations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic math; strong problem-solving and communication skills. Crisis management certification (Safety Care) and ability to work effectively under pressure as part of a team. Physical and Mental Demands: Requires physical strength, endurance, and mobility for household tasks and behavioral interventions. Must lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and maintain various postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing) for extended periods. Ability to restrain, hold, or transport residents using quick body movements as needed. Completion and maintenance of Safety Care certification (Crisis Intervention Training). Must be physically present at assigned locations (home, school, or community). Requires adequate hearing, vision, mental flexibility, emotional stability, and creativity to handle challenging situations. Positions open until filled.
