Looking to spend your summer on the tennis courts in beautiful Sunriver, Oregon?
SROA is looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for developing curricula and putting it into play on the court. This position allows for creativity and schedule flexibility in designing individual and group lesson plans, clinics, and more.
- Requirements/Certifications
- United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) certified professional or Professional Tennis Registry PTR certification or other equivalent certifications preferred.
- Experience of a minimum of two-years leading small groups, clinics, teams, or large group tennis instruction while displaying a positive, encouraging, and upbeat attitude at all times
- Ability to play tennis and influence on-court tennis instruction. Tennis playing ability of 4.5 or above is preferred but not required.
- Ability to gauge and adjust programming to meet each patron's ability and skill level.
- Ability to meet the needs of individuals of all abilities, ages, backgrounds, and interests, as well as manage group dynamics.
Summer Tennis Season Season runs from June to early September. Lessons and clinics Monday - Friday mornings into early afternoons, approximately 20-25 hours per week with additional private lessons.
The Good Stuff Wage
$50 per hour Also, as a part-time SROA employee, you'll have access to SROA's recreation amenities including SHARC, disc golf, tennis & pickleball courts, and SROA boat launch river access.
Other Details EOE. Valid Driver's License, pre-employment drug screening and background check required.
