Responsibilities

Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities. Engage children in play-based learning to foster social and emotional development. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure safety. Support children with daily routines, including meal times and nap times. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs. Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills. Encourage positive behaviors and promote a nurturing atmosphere.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; CDA or early childhood education coursework preferred. Previous experience in a daycare or educational setting is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children. First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Background check clearance as required by state regulations. Flexible schedule to accommodate varying daycare hours.
