Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care, health education, and case management services to students. This role is essential in promoting student health, wellness, and success by ensuring access to quality medical care and preventive education.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Provide health education to students on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, sexual health, and disease prevention.
  • Manage student health cases, including documentation, monitoring, and coordination of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and other staff to support student well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with Job Corps and regulatory standards.
  • Refer students to external healthcare providers or community resources when necessary.
  • Participate in health screenings, immunization programs, and wellness initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in the state of Oregon (required).
  • Clinical experience in nursing practice (required).
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles, health education, and case management.
