Speech-Language Pathologist position available for SY26/27

Qualifications

Professional license in Speech, Language and Hearing Disorders through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education License to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist through the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience with PreK-middle school age children Effective oral, written communication and presentation skills Ability to collaborate with other staff Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

  • Administer appropriate assessments for initial evaluations and reevaluations Participate in IEP meetings Develop and implement IEP goals and objectives Provide individual or group therapy for identified students, as indicated by the IEP Write triannual progress reports Maintain accurate records for all students on caseload Conduct informal observations and provide recommendations for students of concern Collaborate with teachers, parents and staff Maintain positive communication with parents Attend weekly in house professional development workshops Maintain ongoing knowledge of current research-based methods and state regulations in the field of speech-language pathology Participate in school wide activities/events Cover lunch and recess when needed Performing additional duties as requested by the Support Services Director or the Executive Director School Year Contract August
