- This position is responsible for: Assists in facilitating and monitoring assigned recreational activities of the School of Excellence Day Camp programs; supervises and provides homework tutoring; transports patrons to and from the Day Camp programs &events; assists in maintaining facilities, equipment, and grounds.
- Key
- Responsibilities: Plans, organizes, coordinates, supervises, leads, and evaluates activities for the assigned program area. Reports any injuries to the supervisor immediately and instructs the injured party to complete an incident report. Assists others when asked, especially in helping with special events and activities. Interprets through all available media the objectives and standards of the program to staff, parents, members, volunteers, and the general public. Maintains a safe and orderly atmosphere and environment during all program periods and to exercise discipline of members in accordance with the policies of the organization.

- Requirements: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull light ( 25lbs – 50lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment. Moderate mobility; duties are usually performed by a combination of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis.
