Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education for infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months. Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive and social development. Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment. Observe and assess each child's development and communicate progress to parents. Collaborate with a team of educators to create a supportive learning atmosphere. Engage with parents through regular updates and open communication. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of all children. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements
Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Experience working with infants in a childcare or educational setting. Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices. CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents and staff. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Passion for nurturing and educating young children. Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
