Summer Camp Teacher (Infants & School-Age)
We are looking for a warm, energetic Summer Camp Teacher to join our team for a fun, engaging, and experience-filled summer.
Our summer program is built around weekly themes, hands-on activities, and exciting field trips designed to spark creativity, teamwork, and a love of learning.
This role supports both infants and school-age campers, creating a safe, structured, and joyful environment each day. This is not a sit-back role—active, present, and fully engaged.
What You’ll Do Create a safe, nurturing, and well-supervised environment for all age groups Lead and support daily activities including indoor play, outdoor play, and hands-on learning Implement theme-based curriculum and activities that encourage creativity and exploration Supervise children during weekly field trips and on-site experiences Keep children actively engaged through movement, play, and guided interaction Support social-emotional development, teamwork, and positive behavior Maintain a clean, organized, and prepared classroom environment Communicate clearly with your team to ensure a smooth and consistent day
What We’re Looking For Warm, positive, and genuinely enjoys being with children High energy and engaged—able to lead, participate, and stay present Comfortable working with infants through school-age campers Strong awareness of safety, supervision, and transitions Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-moving, activity-based environment Team-oriented with a steady, reliable presence Childcare experience preferred, but not required

State Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old. Must meet the required academic qualifications. Ability to care for and supervise children according to DECAL guidelines. A satisfactory background check is required.
What We Love to See
CDA, TCC, or other early childhood education credentials (a plus!). Previous childcare experience (a plus!). First Aid certification (a plus!). Ability to stand, bend, and engage with children at their level. Basic computer skills and excellent communication.
