Community support professional hours
- Monday -
- Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm Do you want to share your knowledge and help others achieve goals? The Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Community position helps adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities foster independence. You will be there every step of the way in Philadelphia day programs as our individuals gain valuable new skills. Work with a team of creative and reliable professionals to help our adults grow, learn and connect with others in their community. It’s more than a career; it’s a fulfilling way of life. Responsibilities include implementing goal plans, completing progress notes, assisting with personal care, and preparing activity schedules.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
