Establish and manage a caseload, coordinating size and nature with supervisory staff. Deliver prevention, intervention, and support services to identified students to decrease barriers to academic success. Participate in client staffing to identify problems, establish treatment goals and objectives, and manage assigned cases according to guidelines. Provide rapid aid in cases of emotional crisis through emergency services. Ensure comprehensive follow-up for clients under your responsibility. Collaborate with school counselors to coordinate student support and access to community resources. Conduct clinical assessments and interventions for students and families on-site during school hours. Serve as a liaison among assigned schools to provide services to all family members. Adhere to Burrell Behavioral Health Operational Guidelines, school guidelines, and professional code of ethics. Participate in and contribute to staff development activities at Burrell and the school district. Support management needs such as data collection, program evaluation, grant application development, and contract maintenance. Attend all required meetings. Regularly participate in self-evaluation according to Burrell Operational Guidelines. Cooperate with utilization review procedures, follow Clinical Records Department rules and regulations, and respond to Quality Assurance procedures. Perform other special functions as outlined and attached. Education and/or Experience Qualifications: Possess (or soon to possess) licensure as one of the following: Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW *Note: Burrell offers complimentary licensure supervision for PLPC and LMSW. The salary structure includes an increase upon obtaining LPC or LCSW licensure, after completing the no-cost supervision program. Additional Qualifications: Interpersonal skills: ability to establish effective relationships with clients and necessary care networks via telephone and personal contacts. Ability to follow directions and accept supervision. Must meet driver's license, insurance coverage, and auto liability carrier's driver criteria for licensed company vehicles or using personal vehicles for business purposes.
