Position Summary

The Run Coach train athletes of all levels and goals. As a Life Time Run coach, you’ll be tasked with coaching large group Run Training classes, developing a community of runners that extends beyond the finish line. While coaching adult runners preparing for races from their first 5K to the marathon, becoming a Life Time Run coach a rewarding way to share your passion and experience. Job

Duties and Responsibilities

Delivers large group training programs, offering the best run-training experience possible for members Utilize provided LT Run Group Training Plans, with the option to modify for your location as needed Actively promotes Run Training programs in-club and online Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of run training techniques and concepts Promotes and facilitates run training information seminars and ancillary services related to Run Training (i.e. metabolic testing, nutrition coaching, nutritional products, etc.) Communicates with training class participants online via e-mail and local Facebook group May assist in the promotion and execution of certain events such as the Commitment Day 5K, Global Running Day and local Life Time events Reports accidents and injuries to supervisor as soon as possible Completes other tasks and duties as communicated from local & national staff Option to delivers Online Coaching if qualified and accepted into that role Position Requirements High School diploma or GED Certification from USATF – Level 1, RRCA, UESCA, or other acceptable Run training specific certification preferred for all Run Coaches Certification required for Online Coaches within 6 months of hire CPR/AED Certification within 6 months of hire Preferred Requirements Four-year degree in kinesiology, sports medicine or other related field 3+ Years of Run Training and Racing experience 1+ Years of Run Coaching Experience (individual, or group) 1-2 Years of Personal Training experience Program design experience Life Time is a place for everyone.
