The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing them with a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing lesson plans, implementing activities, and providing guidance to students in order to foster their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate for preschool-aged children.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Supervise children in the classroom and on the playground.
  • Encourage social interaction among students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.
  • Communicate with parents about their child's development and behavior.
  • Candidates must have experience working in a childcare facility.
  • A CDA or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development, experience implementing lesson plans, and evaluations with infants/young children would also be helpful!
