Test - Teacher

ThrivePoint High School is seeking a certified secondary math teacher who wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students for the school year.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops instructional plans and organizes class time to provide a balanced professionalism, demonstration and working time.
• Provides individual and small group instruction in order to adapt curriculum to the needs of the students with varying intellectual abilities, and to accommodate a variety of instructional activities.
• Establish and maintain good communication with parents; inform parents of student progress and school activities.
• Evaluates each student's performance and growth in knowledge and understanding.
• Cooperates in school-wide supervision of students during out-of-classroom activities.
• Use and implement effective classroom management techniques to maintain organization, orderliness, student safety, and a productive learning environment.
• This is an in person and year round position. Applicants must live in the Phoenix Arizona area.

Qualifications

• Position requires a B.A./B.S. degree.
• Valid Arizona Secondary Education Teaching Certificate
• Applicants must also possess a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
