- $20.00–$22.00 per hour + $2/hour for each additional sibling! Looking for a fun and meaningful summer job working with kids? We’re hiring reliable, caring, and energetic Seasonal Summer Sitters to join our respite care team! This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on childcare experience, build your resume, and enjoy a flexible summer schedule that works for you. You’ll focus on creating meaningful connections and fun summer experiences with children, while we provide the support of a caring team and opportunities to make a real difference. - Able to provide 3 references: 2 non-family childcare-related (paid or unpaid) and 1 character reference At least 1 year of childcare experience (special needs experience a plus!)
- Compassionate, reliable, and safety-focused
- Minimum age: 18 years old Reliable vehicle + valid driver’s license CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain—we’ll reimburse you!) Available during summer months, with shifts of at least 4 hours (daytime and evening shifts available) Comfortable working with children ages 6 months–12+ years Able to lift 35 lbs, stay active, and react quickly to ensure child safety
