- What
- You’ll Do: Implement behavior support plans and skill-acquisition programs for clients. Collect observational, A-B-C, and daily data under the supervision of a BCBA or RBT Supervisor. Assist with functional analyses, functional behavior assessments, and other therapeutic programming. Model interventions for caregivers, parents, and other implementers. Maintain accurate documentation for skills tracking and billing purposes.
- Work in a variety of settings: site-based, community, or in-home.
- Day-to-Day
- Responsibilities: Support staff and families in program instruction. Collect and measure data required by treatment plans, IEPs, BSPs, and other programs. Participate in functional analyses, behavior assessments, and treatment planning meetings. Provide crisis intervention as needed. Complete required paperwork and reports, including billing and time tracking. Use task analyses and chaining procedures to teach self-help skills. Model and give feedback to caregivers on behavior support plans. Attend supervision meetings and participate in professional development activities.
Qualifications
