Overview

The ACLS and PALS Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and comprehensive training to healthcare professionals in both ACLS and PALS courses. The instructor will ensure that participants understand advanced life-saving techniques and are proficient in applying them in critical care settings, including for pediatric and adult patients.

  • Materials: Organize and review training materials, including textbooks, case studies, and audiovisual presentations, to ensure that all content is up-to-date and relevant.
  • Skill
  • Evaluation: Assess participants' knowledge and skills through written exams, practical evaluations, and simulations to ensure that they meet competency standards.
  • Hands-On
  • Practice: Lead scenario-based training and practical sessions to improve participants' proficiency in critical life-saving techniques such as CPR, defibrillation, airway management, and pharmacology.
  • Provide
  • Feedback: Offer constructive feedback to participants on their performance, emphasizing areas for improvement and reinforcing best practices.

Required qualifications

  • Current and valid AHA ACLS and PALS Instructor certifications.

  • Strong knowledge of ACLS and PALS guidelines and protocols.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse audience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must be comfortable working with adult and pediatric patients in simulated emergency scenarios.
