- We build humans." Creative STEAM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit learning center that throws out the traditional playbook.

- Just real, hands-on learning in small groups where every student is known by name and challenged by design.
- We partner with community supporters to make this possible — and our teachers are the heartbeat of what we do.
The role Middle School ELA & Math Teacher This isn't a fill-in-the-blanks, follow-the-textbook kind of job. You'll bring ELA and Math to life for 7th and/or 8th graders by tying every lesson to something real — budgeting, storytelling, critical thinking, decision-making. You'll know your students, adapt to them, and challenge them to see how what they're learning actually shows up in the world. 5th and 6th Grade Science and Social studies.
- What you'll actually do
- Design with purpose - Build curriculum that connects real-world skills to ELA and Math — no filler, no busywork
- Know your students - Assess where each learner is and meet them there — both academically and socially
- Make it memorable
- Build community - Partner with parents and staff to support each student's growth beyond academics
- Use hands-on methods, movement, and projects that stick long after class ends
- Teach life skills - Weave in social-emotional learning and the skills students need to navigate the real world
- Track progress - Assess and adjust — keep a pulse on where students are and celebrate milestones
