Job Summary
This position provides both clinic and community education, which includes individual and group level education, community presentations and in-service training for staff. This position provides support to the respective infectious disease program at ICHS - for example grant-funded programs, Hepatitis B and C Program, HIV/PREP program and related functions to the clinic. This position requires experience serving patients from a wide range of backgrounds, population health-based approach to health education with a focus on infectious disease, chronic conditions and sexual health.
Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education, Nursing, a Public Health specialty, Social Work or related field preferred. Four (4) years of educational, counseling, or teaching experience in a health care setting may be substituted year for year for the education requirement.
Experience - Two years' experience providing individual or community health education.
