What to expect.
As a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) you
- Are responsible for the timely completion of functional behavioral assessments and behavioral intervention plans on all children assigned to the Autism program.
- Prepare Positive Behavior Support and Management Plans, train staff in their administration, and reassess and revise plans as needed.
- Supervise Assistant Behavior Specialist(s) and/or Resource Specialist(s) assigned to program.
- Work with education and treatment team; serve as a resource to teachers, staff, and family regarding behavior support and management.
- Depending on credentials and licensure, may work independently or under appropriate supervision by a licensed professional.

The pay range for this position is $58,401.82 to $90,195.04/year. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
- What we need from you.
- Requires Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, behavioral psychology, special education or closely related field of study and 2-3 years’ behavior assessment and management experience with assigned patient population and persons with developmental disabilities and/or autism.
- Internal candidates with Bachelor’s degrees and 4-5 years relevant experience will be considered, provided they are enrolled in Master’s degree programs upon hire into the position and remain enrolled until completion.
- Requires experience with computer software, including Microsoft Excel, and data collection and analysis.
