Responsibilities

Provide individualized SAT tutoring sessions focusing on reading, writing, and math sections. Develop customized lesson plans and study materials based on each student's needs and skill level. Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify students' strengths and weaknesses. Teach effective test-taking strategies and time management skills for the SAT exam. Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and encouragement. Maintain clear and consistent communication with students and parents regarding tutoring goals and achievements. Stay updated on the latest SAT formats, question types, and scoring guidelines to ensure accurate instruction. Collaborate with other tutors and staff to share best practices and improve tutoring methodologies. In-depth knowledge of the SAT exam structure and content areas. Proven experience tutoring high school students in SAT preparation or related standardized tests. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and parents. Ability to create customized study plans tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities. Patience, adaptability, and motivational skills to support student confidence and progress. Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, English, mathematics, or a related field preferred. Availability to provide flexible tutoring sessions, including evenings and weekends.
