Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):

To assist the two language Academic Administrative Assistants (Team North) who provide support for Asian Studies, Classics, German, Norwegian, Romance Languages, and Russian Languages and Area Studies departments and their affiliated programs.

Duties: and Responsibilities:

⚫ Design and put up new posters; take down old ones

⚫ Website management

⚫ Post events and other flyers on Tightrope

⚫ Photocopy/Scan as assigned

⚫ General office workroom management

⚫ Retrieve and deliver department mail

⚫ Campus errands

⚫ Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)

⚫ Knowledge of World Languages faculty, staff, and departments

⚫ Skilled in Google Drive and Microsoft Office, including Docs and Sheets/Excel

⚫ Experience with Canva and Wordpress

⚫ Experience with large format printing

⚫ Dependable and punctual

⚫ Ability to maintain confidentiality

⚫ Able to work with minimal supervision

⚫ Strong communication skills
