Position Overview

We are currently seeking energetic, dependable, and flexible Resource/Floater staff members to join our team. This individual should be warm, nurturing, and adaptable, with the ability to confidently support multiple classrooms throughout the school. Our ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working with children of various ages, communicates well with others, and is willing to jump in wherever support is needed throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

Support classrooms throughout the school as needed, including assisting with coverage, transitions, breaks, and daily classroom routines Maintain a positive, safe, and engaging environment for children Provide nurturing care and supervision while supporting classroom teachers Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, understanding that each day may look different Assist with classroom management, daily activities, and implementation of lesson plans as directed by lead teachers Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, families, coworkers, and administration Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all health and safety standards Demonstrate initiative by identifying classroom needs and offering assistance proactively Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth through positive interactions

Educational Qualifications

All candidates must meet one or more of the following qualifications, in addition to any state and/or local licensing requirements: Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting preferred A CDA (Child Development Associate) or Early Childhood Credential is preferred Current enrollment in an Early Childhood Education program is welcomed Associate’s degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
