- Academies of Math and Science Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Location: 4540 West Glendale Avenue Glendale, AZ 85301 Start: 7/20/2026 Compensation: $48,000 to $58,000 annually, DOE.

- As part of the AMS family, your role as a speech pathologist assistant is to provide speech and language therapy to students with special language needs.

- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Screen students with language difficulties or delayed development.
- Provide speech and language services in accordance with the student's IEP.
- Prepare lesson plans for students in accordance with their IEPs and in conjunction with the classroom teacher.
- Act as a resource on speech and language issues for the teacher, parents, and administration.
- Qualifications & competencies: Minimum 1 year experience working in a school setting Must possess a valid Arizona Standard Certification issued by the Department of Education in the area of speech pathology OR Must possess a state license issued by the Arizona Department of Health as a speech and language therapist/pathologist Clearance 1 (IVP) Fingerprint Card.
