Job description

Adelphi is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one and group behavioral support to students within a school district in Little Rock, AR. The RBT will implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs, collect and analyze data on student progress, and support students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs
  • Conduct one-on-one and group sessions with students per their behavior plans
  • Collect and record data on student behaviors and progress
  • Assist in developing reinforcement strategies and behavior management plans
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals regarding student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and service records
  • Follow ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training
  • Modify behavior strategies as needed based on data and student progress
  • Support crisis intervention strategies when necessary
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, school staff, and BCBAs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
