Job description

Adelphi is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavior analysis services, functional behavior assessments, and intervention plans for students receiving special education services and MTSS support in a school in Little Rock, AR. The BCBA will oversee and direct the work of RBTs and behavior technicians, and collaborate with school leadership to implement effective behavior programs.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments for students requiring MTSS Tier 2 or 3 interventions or special education services
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Participate in IEP and MTSS/SBIT meetings at the building level
  • Oversee and mentor RBTs and positive behavior interventionists
  • Collaborate with district leadership to develop and refine behavior programs
  • Provide direct intervention for students with complex behavior challenges on a case-by-case basis
  • Ensure compliance with all confidentiality and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate progress and strategies to parents, teachers, and school staff
  • Adhere to school calendar and billing procedures, including pre-approval for any overtime services
  • Perform other duties as assigned
