Overview
- The Education Specialist provides health education programs and services through the WakeMed ENERGIZE Program, collaborating with community partners.
- Assists with the screening and assessment of children and families at risk for developing diabetes.
- Develops and implements education content, provides group and individual healthy lifestyle education to ENERGIZE participants who range in ability, age and physical condition or limitations.
- The Education Specialist will also assist in classroom data collection and ENERGIZE! program implementation.
