Job Description

Position Summary

The Behavior Technician will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings. Essential Responsibilities: Provide Applied Behavior Analysis therapy as directed by senior staff Follow and Implement behavior plan Record data and graph as required Keep open communication with treatment team and families to ensure progress and transfer of skills Complete session documentation and paperwork Provide 1:1 ABA services to clients in the home, school, or community Attends supervision sessions to discuss feedback Attends quarterly staff meetings Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift to 30 pounds, transport, and move fast with clients Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including seasonal heat, humidity, cold temperatures, and other environmental conditions. Have the ability to safely accompany clients on community outings, walks, and outdoor recreational activities.
