- Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a board-certified, fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Physician (Anesthesiology or Physiatry) to join our dynamic, mission-driven team in Des Moines Iowa.
- We are seeking a physician preferably with five or more years of experience who values respect, excellence, patient access, compassion, and healing.
- Our established department includes three physicians (2 pain interventional physicians and one sports medicine fellowship trained physician) as well as four medication management nurse practitioners.
- The office is supported by fluoroscopic C-arm procedures, and radiology technicians , equipped with two electrodiagnostic lab rooms, and a dedicated space for osteopathic manual medicine.
- You’ll collaborate closely with a strong physical therapy team, benefit from on-site X-ray capabilities, as well as have collegial support from radiology, orthopedics and local neurosurgeons.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, communicative interventionalist who is passionate about patient care and education across all levels and who is eager to contribute to our program growth.
- The prospective physician will have notable opportunities to develop a diverse practice including ESIs, RFAs, nerve blocks, ganglion blocks, PNS, joint / soft tissue injections and more.

- Responsibilities: Maintains clinical skills Provides direct service to patients within inpatient and/or outpatient settings. Seeks consultation from other specialties when appropriate. Provides ongoing supervision and consultation to assigned mid-level providers, residents, and/or medical students Participates in depaltmental call schedule as assigned. Participates in medical education programs as assigned. Participates in meetings and committees of the Medical Staff as assigned in order to further the mission of the Medical Center. Participates in process improvement initiatives for the organization as related to practice. Completion of medical records is accurate, timely, and legible. Clinical practice patterns reveal efficiency of resource management with no departure from established patterns of clinical practice using evidence based medicine when appropriate. Appropriate education of patients and families regarding a documented plan of care. MINIMUM OUALIFICATIONS Current license to practice in the State of Iowa Board certification in applicable specialty within five years of residency training, fellowship ra waiver approved by the Credentials Committee, Medical Executive Committee, and Board of Trustees. #IND101
