Job description

New Birth Midwifery’s On-Site Residency Program at our Chaska birth center is designed to provide immersive, hands-on training for aspiring midwives within a high-functioning birth center environment. Built on mentorship, accountability, and continuity of care, this model allows students to develop strong clinical skills while also learning the operational systems that support sustainable midwifery practice. Our structured on-site 48-hour shift schedule creates deep continuity in learning while also making midwifery training more accessible to individuals from diverse backgrounds, life stages, and responsibilities. By consolidating training into focused on-site blocks, students are able to meaningfully participate in birth, clinic, and postpartum care without the unpredictability of constant on-call demands.
