Job Description

  • Essential Functions
  • Coordinate logistics for health education classes, workshops, and community events.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, promotional materials, and participant communications.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, evaluations, and participant feedback.
  • Support instructors and facilitators with materials, equipment, and setup needs.
  • Communicate effectively with community members, partners, and internal departments.
  • Monitor program supplies and inventory to ensure adequate availability.
  • Assist with tracking program outcomes, metrics, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for management review and compliance purposes.
  • Provide administrative support for planning and implementing new education initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Specific vision abilities required include close vision for reading and computer work. The job also entails regularly lifting or moving up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lifting or moving more than 50 pounds. Repetitive motions such as typing are a regular part of the job. The work environment is well-lit and climate-controlled with generally moderate noise levels. Travel up to four days per week within the AHEC service region to interact with students, school personnel or others may be necessary to complete requirements of this position.
