Upper School Spanish Faculty

Academics. Character. Adventure.

About the Role

At Tahoe Expedition Academy, Spanish is a passport to language, to culture, and to a world our 9th through 12th graders are already shaping. This is a role for an educator who wants to teach with consequence: three rich sections spanning Spanish 1, 2, and 3/4, a CREW advisory cohort, and an elective course shaped by your own expertise and passions.

The field is where TEA comes alive. You will help co-lead several weeks of fieldwork per year, sometimes in Spanish-speaking countries where language instruction becomes lived practice. You will be a visible, trusted role model. Our Upper School faculty are mentors that 9th through 12th graders look to for rigor, warmth, and the kind of guidance that outlasts any single course.

Role Overview: Spanish 1, 2, 3/4

3 sections, project-based

CREW Advisory: Weekly, grade-level cohort
