- Schedule - 40 hours/week What You'll Do The Learning Center teacher is responsible for maintaining supervision of children during daily activities, encouraging participation while ensuring the safety of the child.
- Coordinates daily activities and carries out lesson plans focused on nurturing the child’s emotional, physical, and mental growth.
- Responsible for following all DHS regulations, Freeman Learning Center policies and procedures.
- Maintains a safe environment for children and staff.
- Communicates respectfully and appropriately with children based on age and development stage.
- Communicates effectively with parent/legal guardian about his/her child.
- Attends and obtains required training and certifications appropriate for position Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leads and Directs the work of children/lesson plans.
